Using a RPi as a security camera

Interesting build. Myself, I am still fond of Wyze cameras, thought some changes have me a little concerned. https://www.makeuseof.com/create-a-multi-camera-cctv-system-with-raspberry-pi-and-motioneyeos/

3D printing forms for making custom paper shapes

Basically the author takes old paper, converts it back to pulp, and then puts it into a form he 3D printed out to shape the paper. Nice idea to make custom containers.

Mini CNC that can cut metal from 3D printed frame

Interesting build. The author 3D prints and uses stantard parts to make a CNC that can handle metal. Which surpised me given it has plastic and is belt drive.

Make your own magnetic drill press

The author took a cheap drillpress, a magnetic lock and make an magnetic drill press. Figure $40 for the drillpress, another $40 for the lock. And scrap for the rod and other parts. https://www.homemadetools.net/forum/build-mag-base-drill-press-89288#post196194

Interesting farm platform (acorn)

The author is pretty colorful. Its using an ardiuno/RPi combo for controlling it, right now its just the platform and its goal is to automate farming. I think this looks interesting, but has a ways to go.

The Poor Persons Whirlpool Hot Tub

I got a kick out of this one. I would be a little worried that the hot water (if too hot) could melt the pool. But hey whatever works right. https://www.instructables.com/DIY-Whirlpool/
