A cheap(ish) weather station
Nice build. Maybe $50 total in parts. Heck alot cheaper than commercial builds out there. http://www.instructables.com/id/Weather-Station-5/

Quick and easy (er) installation of handgrips
After just putting new grips on a bike, I will definately remember this trick of using zipties to slide the grip on. http://www.instructables.com/id/Easy-Handlebar-Grips-Installation/
Make a homemade glue gun
OK if I am desparate, this is a quick build for a glue gun.
Someone combined a webcam with a laser pointer for pets
OK for 150-200 dollars you can get this gizmo to play with your pets remotely. HAHAHAHA http://deals.kinja.com/monitor-and-play-with-your-pets-from-anywhere-with-this-1767030747
