Converting a sewing machine into a jig saw
I got a kick out of this, and I can see how this works but…my 2 cents, I would just buy a used scroll saw. https://www.homemadetools.net/forum/jigsaw-sewing-machine-video-91490#post205112

Cool addition to a prom dress
Well the author made the dress too. The dress has LED lights in it and the author added a wand that can scan a color and change the dress lights to that color https://www.instructables.com/Color-Changing-Prom-Dress-With-Wand/
Portable table sander build
The author uses a DC motor and drill battery to make the sander portable. To the the torque behind this build the author uses a series of gear/pulley combinations. This build also works with a DC plug too. https://www.homemadetools.net/forum/disc-sander-video-91271#post204114
