CNC your sewing machine
OK this takes the cake, the author basically made an x/y CNC to move a cloth around on a pre-existing sewing machine. Clever build CNC Embroidery Machine Punches Out Designs a Stitch at a Time

3D printed doweling jig
Interesting build. I like the use of bearings to control the drill (I just use a board with pre-drilled holes). https://www.instructables.com/id/3D-Printed-Doweling-Jig-With-Attachments/

Interesting concrete build
The author did a nice write up on using concrete overall for making decorations. He 3D printed the “Frame” to use to hold the concrete in its form. It looks like the mold is re-usable too. https://www.instructables.com/id/3D-Printed-Concrete-Table-Mold/

One fancy slingshot build
Pretty impressive one. The author provides templates so you can cut one out yourself. Or….maybe convert to cut on a CNC? https://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-SlingBow-From-Plywood/

3D printed pump for NEMA based motors
Interesting pump build to use with a NEMA motor (typically stepper motors). If you need some sort of pump that does measured amounts this could be the way to go. The Bolt-On Peristaltic Pump

Make a tuning CAP
pretty neat idea, the author takes some washers and makes a tuning capacitor from them (with some 3D printed parts). Pretty clever build DIY Tuning Capacitors from Washers and 3D-Printed Parts

Turn a cheap rubber mallet into a stamp
Nice idea, I think I saw a few of these at the dollar store. I like how the author uses a CNC to cut the stamp out. He even remakes a handle for it (not sure why he didn’t use … Continue reading

Drawbot with RPi only
I like this build over ones from years past, looks like $100 in materials? Its come a long way and now it does not even need an arduino to control the motors, instead everything goes thru a RPi Zero. https://www.instructables.com/id/Drawbot/

A nice etch a sketch build
I like this build, the author with 2 steppers, an RPi, build this to draw pictures on an etch-a-sketch, could be a good way to into for kids into CNC or robotics. Bot Makes Etch A Sketch Art In One … Continue reading

I want one, Badge based CNC
The author basically made a portable CNC badge. The source/CNC bits have not been posted yet, suppose to be in October and the author figures it will cost 10-12 dollars in materials to make. This is something I will try … Continue reading
