Nice simple Aquaponics setup.

The author made a nice, simple, and cheap aquaponics setup for apartments.  Another step to take is to add some LED’s to it so its more like a piece of furniture. http://www.instructables.com/id/Aquaponics-Minimal-Apartment-DIY/?ALLSTEPS

Build a wave tank generator

A portable hottub

This is a nice CNC based build.  The author at the end says you could get away with 5/8s, maybe 1/2 inch plywood instead.  I personally like the water heater he used that is propane based and only $100.  I … Continue reading

bike wheel with spoons to generate power

This was too funny.  I like the simple way of fastening the spoons on.  Not so sure I would waste a bike wheel hub on this, but maybe a gear to a motor system?   Wait he spent $60 for the … Continue reading

Neat Home Made water power system

Build a catamaran out of styrofoam

I am amazed how well this build turned out.  The author made a simple sailing catamaran from 2x4s and insulation foam board.  Only thing I would do different is give it a coat of paint. http://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-Styrofoam-Catamaran/

Interesting build for a remote pool temperature monitor

Its a cheap build too.  Using an ESP8266 (these have been showing up in alot of projects lately).  The build itself is pretty simple but I wonder if the sensor should be somewhere else in the pool instead of inline … Continue reading

Pretty cool and small Hydrogen generator

This is a nice simple build for water to hydrogen converter.  With the exception of using razor blades, would be a good kid project.   Only which the author did steps written out instead of a video. http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Make-Hydrogen-Generator/

Nicer windowfarm build

Looks like someone is updating the build for windowfarm (build it out of old water bottles).  Only difference is the author is using some pretty big bottles. http://www.instructables.com/id/Windowfarms-Revived-with-3D-Printing/

Making a vertical bubble machine (Magic Cauldron)

Yes its on my list.  The author built this nice verical bubble machine, which he puts in a home-made pot for “a potions” like kettle.  Me…I would use a plastic kettle…anyways.  I like the build and I may have to … Continue reading
