Print out your own robotic arm
I seem to be on a theme with arduinos, 3D printing, and robots today. Anyways another nice build for a robotic arm that you print out, assemble, and control with an arduino. I don’t think this would be a good … Continue reading

3D print your own portable drawbot
Nice simple robot build where a good chunk of the materials comes from 3D printed parts. This would be a fun project with kids. http://www.instructables.com/id/Low-Cost-Arduino-Compatible-Drawing-Robot/

Xerox CEO important lesson is to listen, does she look at glassdoor.com?
Apparently the CEO of Xerox thinks its important to listen to her team. Perhaps she should just google herself and look at the reviews on her at glassdoor.com. http://fortune.com/2015/09/25/xerox-ceo-ursula-burns-leadership-lesson/

Xerox CFO leaving after 2 years
Seems odd to me that she is leaving Xerox after only 2 years. But of course to be the CFO of a booze company sounds a bit more interesting than Xerox. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/xerox-cfo-kathryn-mikells-stepping-135800097.html;_ylt=A0LEVio5hxJWINkAl1gnnIlQ;_ylu=X3oDMTByMjB0aG5zBGNvbG8DYmYxBHBvcwMxBHZ0aWQDBHNlYwNzYw–

GitHub adds support for FIDO
FIDO is a two factor autehntication method (standard too) that is slowly gaining ground. Apparently GitHub now has native support for it. http://techcrunch.com/2015/10/01/github-launches-support-for-u2f-security-keys/?ncid=rss&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Techcrunch+%28TechCrunch%29

Forget plugin air fresheners, simmer some vinegar
You know I am going to try this out. Apparently you can get rid of smells in your house by simmering vinegar on the stove for a while to neutralize them. http://lifehacker.com/remove-odors-from-your-entire-home-by-simmering-vinegar-1734127248
Use Pet tags for Luggage Tags
OK this is a good one, pet tags I believe are 2-5 dollars at petsmart and are metal, durable, etc etc. So using them as the article suggests for a luggage tag is great idea. Beats the plastic/paper ones I … Continue reading
Use a Saw-Zaw to Prune Trees
You can get a 9-12 inch pruning blade for your reciprocating saw and use it to prune trees. Beats my handsaw….and …maybe I could use this for a christmas tree. http://www.todayshomeowner.com/video/using-a-reciprocating-saw-to-prune-tree-branches/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+danny-lipford+%28Today%27s+Homeowner+with+Danny+Lipford%29
