Interesting build for an automated light switch (bluetooth)

I like the build.  But…not so sure I would use Bluetooth, maybe use an ESP and get wifi instead.  I like Wemo switches but they are sometimes hard to fit in older light boxes, and this could be cheaper too.  … Continue reading

A DIY Laser CNC

Nice build but…little leery of the arylic glass for “safety”.  I an not sure how the author determined that particular glass would work. http://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-Metal-Engraving-6watts-Laser-CNC/

Nice looking Bose like portable speaker

Nice build, I like how the author lists out the components and they are all mostly “plug and play”. http://www.instructables.com/id/3D-Printed-Bose-Soundlink-Mini-Clone/

Turn your old filament spools into storage containers

I think I saw this a few months ago.  Its a good idea if you have spare filament and a 3D printer big enough to do this. Creating Modular Storage out of Used Filament Spools

Nice little mini water pump

Nice build that you can print out with a 3D printer for a really small water pump.  Just not so sure I would have a need for such a small one.  I have to say it is pretty impressive. http://www.instructables.com/id/Mini-Water-Pump-1/
