Automated spray bottle

Now you can buy something like this call ssscat, which is around $20-30.  But this is much more fun and refillable. No, Cat, This Is Not The Litter Box

Cool underwater camera build

Pretty simple build.  Basically hts an RPi used to take pictures for hours underwater.  The author had to custom order the glass on the front, but everything else is pretty cheap stuff. https://hackaday.io/project/21222-pipecam-low-cost-underwater-camera

A simple water sentry

This is funny.  The author needed to get rid of some pesty deer eating his roses.  So he built a water blaster sentry (attached to hose for water ammo) to track and guard them.  I am surprised he didn’t used … Continue reading

How to waterproof electronics

Interesting article.  One way is with nail polish, another with high temp silocone, third with two part epoxy(potting compound). but may not work the best with heat based circuits. The author does a good job of testing several different methods.  … Continue reading

One easy and cheap swamp like cooler

OK this is a winner, the author basically zip ties bottles to a fan, then puts ice in the bottles with holes in the top of the bottle to get air to pass by and cool. Nice simple build.  Not … Continue reading

Nice looking rain barrel diverter.  I like the hose adapter so you can move the barrel farther away.  My 2 cents, I would make sure the bottom can be un-screwed for cleanout too. http://www.instructables.com/id/Rain-Barrel-Diverter/

Another interest solar power water distiller

I like this build a bit better than others I have seen.  This one you can “stand up” easily.  Downside…still hard to get end result water out. https://www.instructables.com/id/Solar-Powered-Water-DistellerFilter/

Interesting solar water heater

Interesting build,  It cycles cold thru the bottom, which gets heated up and then “steam” out side. https://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Make-Solar-Water-Heater/

Simple Solar water heater

Nice build overall.  Not so sure I would use plywood for the backing in the elements.  Could be a good away to heat small pools.  I like the use of flashing for the backing. http://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-Solar-Water-Heater-Deluxe-Aluminum-Backed-COPP/

Nice little mini water pump

Nice build that you can print out with a 3D printer for a really small water pump.  Just not so sure I would have a need for such a small one.  I have to say it is pretty impressive. http://www.instructables.com/id/Mini-Water-Pump-1/
