Interesting build for making multiple silicone mold parts

The author used multiple molds and one clamp to make multiple molds at once (instead of one at a time). Its an interesting build overall.

Turn an Old Phone Into a Smart Doorbell Camera With Facial Recognition

The phone is basically turned into a wifi camera, an RPI is used for an image server, and then cloud based apps for the rest. https://www.open-electronics.org/turn-an-old-phone-into-a-smart-doorbell-camera-with-facial-recognition/

Use RemoteXY to control a robot arduino

Basically its a wizard for creating an “app” to control an arduino via wireless. Seems pretty neat.

Another nice CNC for hot-wire cutter

This one is pretty impressive in that its more 3D than other foam cutters I have seen that are 2D. It has the base build similar to a rep-rap.

Converting a nail light to a UV light for resin prints

With a resin printer, you also will need a UV curing station to harden the final print. These can be a bit costly, but the author modified a home salon light to do this instead.

Upgrading a cheap CNC

The author upgrades a 1610 (also can do 3018) to the size of a 5050, which is like 50 mm to 500mm. According to the author, it was cheaper than buying a 5050, and he did some other upgrades that … Continue reading

Neat pan/til camera build

Or you can use it for other items (like a laser pointer). The build it all from 3D printed parts, 2 stepper motors, and an arduino with CNC shield. The sample videos show its moves pretty quick and smooth. https://www.instructables.com/Remotely-Operated-WEBCAM-Laser-Camera-flashlight/

Nice Dado Jig for a Router

Been on a router jig kick. This is to make dados on wide boards. Only change I would make is the ability to mount a stop bit on the other end. https://www.instructables.com/How-to-Make-a-Stopped-Dado-Jig-for-Any-Router/

A simple circle jig for a router

Pretty simple build. Personally I like the ones that use a faceplate mount to the router. thought this one is pretty adjustable. https://www.homemadetools.net/forum/simple-router-circle-jig-video-87028?homelistings#post187457
