Interesting Weather Station Build

Interesting build, has alot of extras built in and all from parts from Home Depot.  Well except the electronics.  Its based on an intel edison board for the controller.  If I had to guess, $150 in materials, which from what … Continue reading

3D Printed slider

Well made with PVC pipe for “sliding” on.  The author built this for DSLR cameras.  Me…this could make a good build for a simple CNC for kid projects.  Oh and I don’t think the author factored in the plastic in … Continue reading

3D print Z-Axis for CNC

Nice build for an almost all printed Z-axis for a CNC.  Not so sure I would do this over building one from other materials.  I would be a bit worried about the flex on the plastic.  The author geared this … Continue reading

Convert a motorized water gun into a sentry gun

Nice build where teh author uses a simple prox sensor and relay control for the gun to shoot.  Would have been more impressive if it used opensentry. http://makezine.com/projects/motion-activated-water-gun-turret/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=%24{feed}&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+%24{makezineonline}+%28%24{MAKE}%29&utm_content=%24{GoogleReader}
