A concrete printer!

This is cool looking, a giant 3D printer that uses concrete.  Looks like the original author plans to sell the device in a few months.  I understand all the basics of the machine but…how to get the concrete to hold … Continue reading

Google adds CoreOS

I have not heard of CoreOS (Linux distro) til now.  It looks interesting.  Its a lightweight Linux distro that sounds like its built for app development and cloud based systems.  Its on my download list to try out. http://www.theregister.co.uk/2014/05/23/google_loads_coreos_onto_its_cloud/

A simple brake bell for bikes

I got a kick out of this, the author basically attached the bell to the brake cable, so when you pull the brake, the line also pulls the bell trigger.  Pretty simple hack. http://www.bikehacks.com/bikehacks/2014/05/brake-bell.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+BikeHacks+%28BikeHacks%29

Moscrack, multi cluster crack WPA

Interesting tool, can boot up a machine from CD/USB, have it join your cluster and start cracking a WPA key.  It uses aircrack under the hood. http://www.darknet.org.uk/2014/05/moscrack-cluster-cracking-tool-wpa-keys/
