Possible Kernel Module for SPI on OpenWRT

Why is this important, well SPI, Serial Preferential Interface, is a great way for something like an arduino to talk to a cheap TP-link router to get network connectivity.  Since its not a standard thing in OpenWRT, the addition of a module that can be loaded on startup would be great.
