Where the Xerox CMO went
Now we know where Christa Carone went from Xerox, she is working for Fidelity Investments as an EVP for corporate communications. Seems like a demotion. I wonder what happened behind the scenes. http://www.prweekus.com/pages/login.aspx?returl=/fidelity-taps-former-xerox-cmo-carone-as-comms-evp/article/315769/&pagetypeid=28&articleid=315769&accesslevel=2&expireddays=0&accessAndPrice=0

Xerox does Taxes?
Actually tax collection for states. The article goes on about MI wants to award Xerox a contract to collect tobacco taxes, despite another company coming in with a bid 1.7 million lower. http://www.miamiherald.com/2013/10/10/3681565/michigan-contract-for-cigarette.html

Programming an ATtiny2313
Nice write-up on programming one of these microcontrollers. Haven’t used an ATtiny 2313 yet myself, but this is worth bookmarking if I do. http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Program-ATtiny2313-Current-and-Updated/

Buried in Paper, Super Xerox to the rescue
Another good article about a crew that goes all over the USA basically digitizing documents for folks. What worries me is some of these paper documents go back a long ways, and something could accidentally leak out (remember that 5th … Continue reading
Xerox + Cincinnati = Cha-Chin
Interesting article, if I read it correctly, Xerox will get quiet a bit of money for the next 10 years to “modernize” the parking tolls in Chincinnati, the article points out that the cost looks like its going to be … Continue reading

Use an Oscilloscope to See Your Pulse
A bit overkill to get your pulse, but if you don’t have another way to do it…and want the cool graph of it. http://makezine.com/2013/10/10/use-an-oscilloscope-to-see-your-pulse/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=%24%7Bfeed%7D&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+%24%7Bmakezineonline%7D+%28%24%7BMAKE%7D%29&utm_content=%24%7BGoogleReader%7D

5 minute electric bicycle
I could not help this one. Basically the author takes a cheap drill, an old bike, and zip ties everything together…oh and uses the brake from another bike for the throttle control. Simple and works. http://www.instructables.com/id/5-minute-electric-bicycle/?ALLSTEPS
