Making covers for your mini laser engraver
Gee this beats my carboard box I used. http://www.instructables.com/id/Making-Your-Mini-Laser-Engraver-Safer-and-Better/

Pretty clean CDROM CNC build
This has to be one of the cleaner looking builds of a CNC with CDROM motors. Not so sure about the $10 cost bit. Servo is $1-2, arduino nano can be another $6-8, and L293D are another $3 each. http://hackedgadgets.com/2016/10/28/diy-cheap-cnc-machine-using-dvd-drives/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+HackedGadgets+%28Hacked+Gadgets%29

Nice Homemade plotter
Pretty nice plotter build. I am surpised the author just didn’t use the base of an old inkjet printer instead. But whatever works right. I like the bluetooth add on too. http://www.instructables.com/id/CNC-Drum-Plotter/

A good use for an e-smoke machine
Turn it into a fog machine. Pretty clever build (except you have to 3D print out the case for it). Still a bit pricey thought ($100 in materials). http://www.instructables.com/id/Battery-Powered-Fog-Machine/

OK this is going on the list for CNC work
Cool covers for your notebooks. I may do this for a binder instead thought. http://www.instructables.com/id/Wood-Composition-Notebooks/

Make your own Light Up Sword
Just in time for Haloween. If you have a CNC you too can make one of these swords. You could cut the acrylic by hand too. http://www.instructables.com/id/LED-Sword/

Cool penny battery build
I like this build, the author has a 3D printed out holder too. This would be a cool build for kids. http://www.instructables.com/id/Building-and-Testing-a-Penny-Battery/

Build your own belt sander
So been looking at belt sanders for sharpening/or making knifes. I stumbled on this build which is pretty neat, and adjustable….but…I think it would run 40-60 dollars in materials. I could get a belt/disk combo at harbor frieght for $70…. … Continue reading
