A nice looking 3D printer, Eventorbot

I soooo want this.  I have been diligently building a 3-D printer for …gee months now and its mostly wood/plastic based.  This looks much more rugged and cheaper too. http://reprap.org/wiki/Eventorbot  also more info at http://www.instructables.com/id/Eventorbot-Open-source-3D-printer-Free-plans/

Add in a remote control car to the computer

This is cool, the author took an arduino and used it to control an R/C car via its own remote.  Now using an arduino is a bit expensive for the interface between a PC and the car.  But this kickstarter … Continue reading

Pen Tester Tool on Kickstarter, the Glitch

Interesting project on Kickstarter called the Glitch, basically its a microcontroller you can use as a penetration test tool, or just to spy on a computer.  Seems like a neat idea in a small package. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1186217328/the-glitch?ref=category

Nice wiki on TI’s BoosterPack for Launchpad

Not everyone can afford an arduino…so the next best thing is TI’s Launchpad ($5).  But there are not many “shields” out there for it.  However you can build your own as detailed on the wiki below. http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/BYOB
