Simple Prototype shield for TI MSP430
I like it, its simple and easy to use. Funny thing is I think the materials for the shield are more than the MSP430 (figure $6-8) http://www.instructables.com/id/Quick-Cheap-and-Easy-Launchpad-Prototype-Shield-M/

Xerox to have 1.5% growth for 2013?
I hope this analyst is wrong, but he sees only a 1.5% growth for Xerox in the next year (services and tech). Which is no where near what I believe stockholders will want. http://www.forbes.com/sites/ericsavitz/2013/01/22/xerox-s-cuts-target-to-7/

Breaking harddisk encryption
There is a tool, Elcomsoft Forensic Disk Decryptor, which can break disk encryption for many popular types out there. How. Well same way that has been done in the past, intercepting the keys. 🙂 http://www.schneier.com/blog/archives/2012/12/breaking_hard-d.html

Another Coffe Table Arcade with RPi
Not too much for directions, but still an interesting setup for an arcade into a coffee table using an LCD and a Raspberry Pi. http://www.ikeahackers.net/2013/01/lack-arcade-coffee-table.html

How Fluid Coupling works
Video done in the 50’s about how fluid coupling (think transmissions) work. Its pretty good and still applies today. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=leCEmJA0WsI
Print your own hamburger out, it will only cost 1/3 a Mill.
Interesting concept where the use of a 3D printer to print out “meat”. Only problem is the cost of materials will run around 300,000. But still its an interesting proof of concept. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-20972018
