Cool hat, but…
My family would never let me wear it, well except maybe Halloween and New years. The build looks pretty intense too. I think I would add a liner to the hat as well to keep my head from getting poked … Continue reading

RC Android Bluetooth Sumobot [Ultimate DIY!]
Interesting robot build that can be controlled via bluetooth (via an android app). I think the materials used could be cost cut down, if you wanted to do this yourself. http://www.instructables.com/id/Android-Controlled-Bluetooth-Sumobot-Ultimate-DIY-/
Xerox sells 1/2 its building in Dallas
Wow they sold off an ACS call center building instead of a technology end one. I wonder how long it will be before they sell the other half and move the call center somewhere cheaper. http://www.bizjournals.com/dallas/news/2013/08/30/trammell-crow-co-nabs-prime-xerox.html

WDS/Xerox is hiring
WDS, a BPO (Business Process Outsourcing company is hiring (WDS was bought out by Xerox a year ago). Mostly looks like dataprocessing types. Which is better than call center jobs :). http://www.timesrecordnews.com/news/2013/aug/30/wds-hold-recruiting-event-saturday/

Make Your Own Solar Gadget Charger
Nice write-up that basically takes a bunch of off the shelf parts to build a solar charging station. Author claims around $20 in parts, I am thinking closer to $40. http://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-Portable-USB-Solar-Charger-20-4-Ports/
