HCL stock drops
Now what does HCL have to do with Xerox? Its basically taking over the engineering arm of Xerox. So its interesting that the HCL CEO is cashing out and the stock drops because of it. http://profit.ndtv.com/News/Article/hcl-tech-shares-fall-after-vineet-nayar-sells-stake-305952

Printf for Arduino
Printf is one of the best basic utilities to debug C code. The gent below created a library that basically does printf over the serial connection. This should be a useful library for future work. http://blog.kehribar.me/?p=36
TI robot walker
Simple robot walker with TI’s MSP 430. I brought this up since the TI board is $5 and there is not much out there yet for this system. But with Arduino’s rounding $30….this is a much cheaper solution. http://blog.vinu.co.in/2012/06/two-servo-walking-robot-using-ti.html
Simple outdoor solar powered security camera
Nice simple use of a webcam for a security camera. I had a setup with “real” cameras a while back running zoneminder on the backend. I may revisit that setup with this too. https://imgur.com/a/IgdrQ/noscript
Little and Cheap (under 100) CNC
I remember reading about these a few years back when they first came out of MIT. The biggest issue at the time was the need for laser cut parts…I think. But now in version 9.1, it much simpler and cheaper…under … Continue reading
