Arduino Jukebox

Nice looking box build with an arduino, basically the music is stored on an SD card (I think).  My 2 cents, I would use something that gave me network connectivity to pull off radiostations and MP3s off a server. http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=es&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Farduino-guay.blogspot.com.es%2F2012%2F10%2Freproductor-mp3-con-arduino-i.html

How to get an Arduino network/wireless conectivitly cheaper

If you are looking at the arduino ethernet shields, or even the wireless ones, you are going to fork out some big bucks (well OK $50…but that is alot for embedded).  So, put your old router to work and use … Continue reading

funny looking automatic bubble machine

A bit overkill for an automated bubble machine, but still a nice idea. http://www.instructables.com/id/Bubblesteen-Bubble-Machine/

New Arduino Esplora

there is a new arduino out, and it looks neat (oriented towards games) but….Its like $80 dollars… For that much I could get a couple of Raspberry Pi’s. http://techcrunch.com/2012/12/10/new-arduino-esplora-provides-a-ready-for-gaming-customizable-open-source-video-game-controller/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Techcrunch+%28TechCrunch%29 http://tctechcrunch2011.files.wordpress.com/2012/12/a000095_arduinoesplora_iso.jpeg?w=300

Arduino controlled Drawing Robot

Nice idea, uses from the looks of it, 2 steppers to move the pen around and a servo to raise/lower the pen.  The gears are interesting…wonder where they came from. http://blog.makezine.com/2012/12/11/arduino-controlled-drawing-robot/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+makezineonline+%28MAKE%29

Drone for watching your kids get on the bus

I seem to be on a bus theme today. Nice write-up of a dad that built a quad coter to follow/monitor his kids as they go to the bus.  He uses an arduino under the hood. http://spectrum.ieee.org/geek-life/hands-on/the-diy-kidtracking-drone
