Cheap Arduino Robot

Its the standard arduino with an R?C car, but this project comes with source code that could be useful in the future. http://www.instructables.com/id/Cheap-Robot-with-Arduino/

SImulator for an Arduino

OK I am not sure I would write something complicated enough to need a simulator with an arduino…but this does look pretty cool.  BUT….when its complete they plan to charge $50 for it.  🙁 http://dangerousprototypes.com/2012/12/22/simulator-for-arduino-v0-98/

Use at TV remote to control RC car

OK you have to modify the car too.  Basically the author uses an arduino, a motor shield, and IR sensor and a remote to control and old R/C card.  Me, I would just use the “processor”, some cheap motor relays … Continue reading

Using an arduino to control a remote outlet

I actually have some interest in this article since I bought a remote outdoor outlet for my Christmas lights.  And its controlled by an RF remote.  Thought I like the remote, I miss not having a timer….hum something to do … Continue reading

Yet another way to get data off am machine with USB

This time instead of just an arduino acting as a HID device, its a Teeny Arduino with an SD card to store everything o it.  You just plug it into the target machine and bingo, you got passwords…or so the … Continue reading

Nice Comparison of microcontrolers…but..

The y forgot TI’s Stellaris.  Overall it shows that Arduinos are still the best for multiple lines (analog and digital) but for horsepower, Raspberry PI rules (of course I cam looking at costs too here).  Overall I like the chart, … Continue reading

Build a robot to draw with

Actually the robot does all the drawing.  Its a nice write-up/design but, unless you have a CNC to cut out the frame, It maybe a little hard to do by hand. http://www.instructables.com/id/Drawbot-10/

An Arduino Bootprogrammer shield

One thing about arduinos is they are expensive, another is if you just use the processor, its a pain to take in and put our of the arduino board.  So, this nice article shows you how to make your own … Continue reading
