Arduino NFC locker

Nice write-up on how to use Adafruits NFC shield with an arduino for a lock.  Not so sure I would go with this method (bit pricey). http://www.instructables.com/id/NFC-Computer-Unlocker/

Clever Robot arm for drawing what it sees

May replace a streetcorner artist near you.  Neat robot that draws a picture it takes of you on paper.  It has a 3D based arm that is neat to watch, my 2 cents, I would have done more of a … Continue reading

Adding serial USB to arduino

Interesting video on adding USB directly to the Amtel controller.  Which is great it you are just using the chip.  The other nice thing is it can be done as a HID based device (think keyboard). http://hackaday.com/2013/10/23/serial-usb-for-any-avr-microcontroller/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+hackaday%2FLgoM+%28Hack+a+Day%29
