Interesting CNC build
Author uses 3D printer to make the ends for the frame. Nice build overall. Not sure if I would go with this over MP CNC. Bit pricey of a build with some of the parts he uses. https://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-3D-Printed-Dremel-CNC/

Make your own 3D scanner
Interesting build, it moves the object around and you use your phone’s camera to scan in the images. Uses an ATiny to controll the thing. https://www.openscan.eu/?lang=en

Simple miter box build
For your circular saw. Me, I use the compound miter for a lot of these types of cuts, but, if its for a flat board thats bigger than the miter can handle, this could come in handy. http://www.homemadetools.net/forum/homemade-circular-saw-crosscut-circular-saw-miter-slide-cutting-station-72158?homelistings#post130367

Nice portable chainsaw mill
Been looking at these builds for some time. Me…I don’t think I could bring myself to get or build one, just the time to make my own boards vs buying them. Just not worth it. But it would be nice. … Continue reading

More table saw jigs
Both to make slots in a board. I like the handles on the jigs. https://www.instructables.com/id/Table-Saw-Jigs/

3D Router, hand based tool
The author basically made a 3D CNC, but, its all hand controlled. Not a bad idea to get presision slots and cuts without having to go to CAD, then CAM, then setup a CNC. Just alot of work to make. … Continue reading

Making a lathe chuck
Nice build for a lathe chuck. Not so sure I would put all this effort into one myself. https://www.paoson.com/en/blog/lathe-longworth-faceplate–n65

Make your own sawhorses from plywood
Interesting build, looks like the author used 3/4 plywood, and nice faced stuff (not cheap stuff). Me….I think you can get 2 of the plastic sawhorses at Harbor Frieght for $15, not as nice looking but cheaper and quicker. http://www.homemadetools.net/forum/diy-plywood-sawhorses-72205?homelistings#post130540

Interesting CNC build
could be a bit more complicated of a CNC to control, as you need to handle the table spinning. But it does save on number of motors and other parts a standard CNC would use. The write up is not … Continue reading
