Nice CNC build

This is the author’s second version. The frame is 3D printed out and the build can do plotter, drill, and laser based work. Looks sharp too. https://www.instructables.com/id/TRIPLE-CNC-MACHINE-UPGRADE/

Make a snowglobe, with LEDs

OK the authors take a different approach to the mason jar snow globe by adding in LED and a 3D printed base to the mix. Looks pretty nice. https://www.instructables.com/id/LED-Mason-Jar-Snow-Globe/

Interesting jig for table legs on a tablesaw

The build allows for the leg to be tapered, and then spun to round it out. Interesting take if you do not have a lathe. I can see making a baseball bat this way too.

Interesting dust collector build, good for mini CNC’s

Nice build, the author 3D printed as simple dust cyclone for a mini CNC. This could be built up more by adding a bigger waste container. I like the use of PC fan too (quieter than most vaccums). https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3961313

Nice add to christmas lights

The author basically uses a CNC cutter to cut out “wings” to add to the lights. Nice build overall. https://www.instructables.com/id/Navi-Christmas-Tree-Lights/

Cool infinity mirror

Also doubles as a clock. This was alot of work for the author, I wonder if he could have simplified a few steps. https://www.instructables.com/id/Make-an-Infinity-Mirror-Clock/

Cool servo tester

It provides the angle of rotation while you use a pot to change it. Nice build overall. The color display is also pretty cheap now these days ($3). Something I may need to keep in mind for the future. https://www.instructables.com/id/Servo-Tester-2/

Combine vinegar, steel wool, and coffee grinds to make wood stain

I got a kick on this one. Pretty cheap solution to make a simple woodstain to use. Me…I just get a $5 can myself…all pre-mixed and ready to go. https://www.familyhandyman.com/woodworking/staining-wood/how-to-stain-unfinished-wood-with-used-coffee-grounds/

Nice write up on using L298 with Arduino

L298’s are good motor controller (relay) chips. The author found there are not alot of good write-ups on the combining the two. Of course there are many write-ups on using shields that have this chip built in… https://www.instructables.com/id/Connect-L298N-IC-to-Arduino/
