One really small Extruder

Nice simple design.  This is alot easier to deal with than existing systems.  But….motor may drive the filament too fast.  Worth keeping an eye on. http://www.instructables.com/id/QU-BD-Extruder-Improvements/

Xerox, back down the stock goes

Well it was nice while it lasted for a month (high around 11 dollars), but Xerox stock is back down below 10.  I wonder how long it will be before it hits 11 again (took what…5 years).  Guess that was … Continue reading

A ethernet connected RFID reader

This is a nice build but…its pricey, around 65 (not including door hardware, etc) for the board.  But I did get from the site some other interesting things, such as the RFID antennas that are pretty cheap that can be … Continue reading

Build a high speed skateboard

I find it funny its using an R/C motor (expensive one at that) to drive the board.  Not so sure how well this would work uphill. http://hackaday.com/2013/08/10/diy-23mph-electric-skateboard/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+hackaday%2FLgoM+%28Hack+a+Day%29 http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=37230

A really minimal AVR programmer

Wow, this is very basic, but sounds like it works.  If you can get ahold of the board and the parts it would be a very cheap solution. http://dangerousprototypes.com/2013/05/22/minimalist-avr-programmer
