OK not sure why I would do this, still neat
The author took a build for a sliding circular saw cut sled, and basically added in a threaded guide to it so a drill could move the saw along. I do like the standoffs the author makes in this. I … Continue reading
Another nice jigsaw rip guide
This author makes alot of different jigs. This one is a guide for a jigsaw. https://www.homemadetools.net/forum/easy-straight-repeat-cut-using-jigsaw-ripcut-guide-track-86235?homelistings#post184810
Making a mask
Masks are making a comeback again. So I found this nice write-up on making a decent looking cloth mask. https://hackaday.io/project/176684/instructions
Making your own water level detector
Interesting build for an arduino to detect the level of a given water supply. Not so sure I would make one of these as a 6 pack of commercial ones costs $11. Still an interesting build. https://www.instructables.com/Building-an-Arduino-Water-Level-Detection-Sensor/
3 more woodworking jigs
Got a router extension, chisel sharpening jig, and a centering dowel jig.
Interesting Jigsaw jig
Basically its a portable table for turning a jigsaw into a scrollsaw. Interesting build overall. https://www.homemadetools.net/forum/multifunction-jigsaw-guide-cut-vertical-cut-bevel-cut-portable-jigsaw-table-86455?homelistings#post185537
Cool cement candle holder
I like the build overall, a few things I may do differently. One is put an old tealight within the mold to have it have a “resting spot”. Second, is maybe to add a slot at top to mount a … Continue reading
Nice coil winder
Using an arduino and 2 stepper motors, the author build a coil winder. Not sure what the author is using it for, but I was thinking it could be adapted for making coils for wind power generators. https://www.instructables.com/GRBL-Based-Coil-Winder-From-Water-Pipe/

Interesting automated wire cutter
OK unless I was doing some sort of mass project, I don’t think I would build this. But its a neat build overall if you have a bunch of wire you needed cut into certain lengths and colors. One addition … Continue reading

DYI ground tapper
I almost fell over seeing this one. Well if it “works” why not. My 2 cents, I got one for $15 at Harbor Freight myself. But if you are in a jam…this will work. https://www.instructables.com/DIY-Hand-Ground-Tamper/
