Awesome Arcade build
The author did a good job with writting up the hardware part of this build. I like how all the measurements are done out for you too to cut your own. https://www.instructables.com/id/Arcade-Machine-Avengers-Design/

Build a bike washing machine
So you have a couple of spare bicycles, why not build your own washing machine. What would be even more impressive is if the author used scrapes for the entire build. Still a good idea. https://www.instructables.com/id/An-Innovation-to-Minimize-Individual-Energy-Consum/

Adding a DRO to a CNC
Or manual Lathe/bridgeport/etc. Pretty interesting build (included a few others too). I think I like the older one at the bottom that uses a tablet. http://hackaday.com/2017/05/26/making-an-inexpensive-dro/ http://hackaday.com/2012/09/24/adding-digital-readout-to-a-non-cnc-mill/

3D print a candle holder for a flame thrower
I think I would do some of the quicker builds, but this one looks nice. https://www.instructables.com/id/3D-Printed-Flamethrower/
How to install microsoft font in linux (use apt-get)
Apparently MS clamped down on how linux can install its fonts. You know have to manually do so via command line like this: sudo apt-get install ttf-mscorefonts-installer http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/how-to-install-microsoft-core-fonts-in-ubuntu-linux/
Make an SMS bot to do web searches
This was just too funny, the author created an SMS bot with Twilio API so that she could send queries and get a text back with the answer. This works well for where cell connection is very limited. Also could … Continue reading
Nice looking composter out of scrape
I was pretty impressed with this build. All from scrapes and looks really nice. https://www.instructables.com/id/Upcycled-Compost-Bin/

Make your own screen print
Interesting build. Pretty cheap too. I think the biggest expense woult be the C-clamps. Me…not sure, this could be a fun thing to do with kids. https://www.instructables.com/id/BUDGET-SCREENPRINT-DIY/
OK adding this to the list of things to build
A sand/zen garden. This looks easier to make than a CNC since its only two axis and a big magnet. Making the “sandbox” maybe more of a challenge. And as the article says, its been done other times too (I … Continue reading
