Get the last juice out of an almost dead flashlight

Found this project amusing.  The author basically make a joule thief circuit with a big farrite in it.  That powers an LED to use as a flashlight.  I like the final packaging used on the project where the farrite is on top of the battery case and the LED is on top of it.  So it looks more like a flashlight.
