A little robot for TI’s MSP 430 processor

A small tank robot platform for the MSP430 developer board.  Its a nice cheap ($5 for the board and cpu) controller.  I may have to look at this again in the future. http://longhornengineer.com/robotics/msprobot/

Scary Security Story

A bit of a scary story for a company that tried to protect itself (2 factor authentication, follow-up confirmation calls) but still lost out in the end (bank failed to do some of the initial confirmation calls). http://krebsonsecurity.com/2012/05/house-committee-to-probe-e-banking-heists/#more-15245

Nice Blurb for Xerox’s CEO

Nice article covering Xerox’s Ursula Burns, but…it was Anne Muclcahy that turned Xerox around.  Not Ursula. http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/g/a/2012/05/29/investopedia82514.DTL

Blue Ray laser CNC

I am more impressed with this as to how it can be used to mark wood.  I don’t think cutting would be a good idea with it right now thought. http://41j.com/blog/2012/06/bluray-laser-cnc-version-0-2/
