Nice tool for using belt sanding stripes

I like the build, but…I think I would use something else for the “bow” part of the sander, only cause I would be worried the thin wood strip would snap. https://www.homemadetools.net/forum/arch-sanding-tool-video-87134?homelistings#post187946

Adding a coolant system to harbor freight bandsaw

Nice build. I worked in a machine shop in the past and adding coolant to a cutter can extend the cutter’s blades lift and make smoother cuts. I love the catch tray he added on. Note there are 2 videos … Continue reading

Interesting clamp

The author made some really long clamps. I like the wedge build to secure the end. My 2 cents, pipe clamp kits are under $5, and the pipe another $8….they don’t look as nice thought.

Making your own bench cookies and holder

The author made his own bench cookies (as rocker makes some, but they are not cheap). That work just as well. Also he makes a holder for the cookies as well. The cookies are 4 inches wide and fit inside … Continue reading

Making a pocket hole workstation

I have actually thought about this myself. I got the same Kreg Jig when they went on discount a bit back, and its nice, but it really needs wings on the sides for larger pieces. This table build is perfect … Continue reading

Nice Dado Jig for a Router

Been on a router jig kick. This is to make dados on wide boards. Only change I would make is the ability to mount a stop bit on the other end. https://www.instructables.com/How-to-Make-a-Stopped-Dado-Jig-for-Any-Router/

Another simple router jig to make circles

This one I like a bit better than the screw arm one. This one is a piece of plexiglass to act as a circle jig. I like how he uses 1/8 drill bit for the “center mark” and can use … Continue reading

Making your on T-Slot clamps

Its fun to watch these builds. Nice, but….alot of work for something I can buy for $10 for 2 on the net. https://www.homemadetools.net/forum/plywood-t-slot-clamp-video-87029?homelistings#post187459

A simple circle jig for a router

Pretty simple build. Personally I like the ones that use a faceplate mount to the router. thought this one is pretty adjustable. https://www.homemadetools.net/forum/simple-router-circle-jig-video-87028?homelistings#post187457

Simple, cheap, thin strip jig

This is more of my kind of build. Its simple, can be done in under 20 minutes, and can be made from scraps. I don’t think I would use a hardwood runner thought. Another couple of changes I would do … Continue reading
