Upgrading a Power Supply for a cheap CNC

I have heard on forums in the past that the Chinese CNC 3020 have OK hardware, but the electronics and power supply stink.  The author rebuilt the powersupply to use more robust ones.  These CNC’s run between 500-800 bucks, so its very tempting to buy one.
