OK now I see why Xerox is playing games

Now I see where yesterday’s marketing article from Xerox is about.  Its more about “games” to teach call center folks to do their job. http://www.menafn.com/efe96e74-a7ed-4fe5-a5f4-71070fcb1366/Xerox-Scientists-Use-Avatars-Games-to-Improve-Customer-Service?src=main

5 small CNC’s for hobby folks

Good article on 5 different CNC’s that a hobbyist could get.  My 2 cents, I like the new shapeoko 2.  About $700 for the kit.  Cheaper than my home built I did a few years back. http://makezine.com/2014/03/20/desktop-mill-roundup/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=%24%7Bfeed%7D&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+%24%7Bmakezineonline%7D+%28%24%7BMAKE%7D%29&utm_content=%24%7BGoogleReader%7D https://www.inventables.com/technologies/desktop-cnc-mill-kit-shapeoko-2

Xerox Survey, Gamification makes employees happier

Interesting article that basically says if you make a game out of something, the employees are happier about it.  I wonder if Xerox does this with their own employees. http://www.cruxialcio.com/companies-turn-gamification-keep-employees-happy-healthy-5517

Ouch, call for new CEO at Xerox

The true hurts they say.  The author brings up alot of good points, Xerox hasn’t really moved in the 5+ years Ursula Burns has been running it (at $13 mill a year paycheck).  Perhaps they should find someone else. http://247wallst.com/investing/2014/03/20/time-for-xerox-board-to-fire-ceo-burns/
