Xerox received 1,168 U.S. patents in 2013

Thats alot of patents.  And a good warchest to have, but…my experience is it takes 4-5 years for a company to get something together to get it into an official patent.  So I wonder how many IP’s Xerox will have in the upcoming years with its decrease in R&D spending.
