Xerox donated a rather old building to East Rochester, which in turn was trying to rebuild it for town use.
Turns out the building needs allot more work than originally estimated, and the costs to the town just keep going up.
Which reminds me of the saying about getting something for nothing…. Anyways, you have to wonder why Xerox would donate the building instead of selling it, unless it was too much hassle to sell (in other words, it wasn’t worth it).
