Interesting article about how Xerox has software that they say is “open” (not sure what OPEN means here) that cities can customize to monitor and change parking meter information. Including prices. So…you park at 8 for 25 cents, and then 9 rolls around and the price magically goes up to 50 cents an hour (for example).
