Nice concrete planter
I like this build, the author uses ducttape, cardboard boxes to make this planter. This might be a good mothers day project with the kids. http://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-CONCRETE-Cardboard-Duct-Tape-Planter-Box/?ALLSTEPS

Simple but feature rich display for RPi
Nice display for the Raspberry Pi. Worth a second look. Thought its a bit more complicated than something I would make. Just for a display that is. http://hackaday.com/2013/03/13/minimalist-user-interface-for-headless-raspberry-pi-applications/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+hackaday%2FLgoM+%28Hack+a+Day%29

RFID cloner
A nice, already built RFID cloner. And its small. Why would you want this? To clone folks business ID cards of course. Only downside is the controller is a PIC based one. http://hackaday.com/2013/01/18/rfid-emulator-card-includes-a-learning-mode/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+hackaday%2FLgoM+%28Hack+a+Day%29

BotQueue, cloud support for 3D printing
HAHAHA Oh wait the article is serious. The goal is to send a “print job” to the cloud that would distribute it to the right printers. Gee this sounds familiar… http://hackaday.com/2013/03/13/cloud-support-for-fleets-of-3d-printers/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+hackaday%2FLgoM+%28Hack+a+Day%29
