Cheap upgrade for an extension cord
This is not a bad idea, box costs about $1.50, outlet another $1.50, just a heavy new plug end is $4-5 dollars. And this way you get 2 plugs https://www.instructables.com/Upgrade-a-Broken-Extension-Cord/
TinyPilot, an RPi remove KVM
For under $100, the author build a remote KVM that was pretty responsive with a Raspberry Pi. Pretty nice set of directions and cheaper than going with a commercial route https://tinypilotkvm.com/blog/build-a-kvm-over-ip-under-100

Power wheels fishing cart
The author basically took a power wheels kid car and converted it to be a assisted fishing cart. Nice idea but these kids cars can be a bit underpowered. I have also seen folks adapt these cars to use power … Continue reading

Convert a RPi zero to a RPi
Basically its a daughter card for the RPi zero that can convert it so it has the full footprint of a RPi. Board runs around $15, so 15 + 10 for the zero (if you can find one) is a … Continue reading

Nice breathing light LED build
The author used a simple circuit to make a breathing LED light circle. Could be a nice build for halloween. https://www.instructables.com/How-to-Make-a-12V-LED-Breathing-Light/
Big 7 segment display
Need to make your own scoreboard, this is a nice build to start from, the large display uses an arduino to control it and the 2 digit display the author made was for timing swim trials. https://hackaday.com/2022/07/27/you-can-build-a-giant-7-segment-display-of-your-very-own/

Dowel making jig
https://youtu.be/kudYtytZrDY Simple jig to make dowel rods. Cost of wood has been going up alot lately, so this and some other builds could be worth it. https://www.homemadetools.net/forum/dowel-making-jig-video-92673#post209547

Make your own light bar
Nice build, the author uses the plastic cardboard, a strip of LED lights, and some rods to make a cheap light bar. I wonder if we could do this even cheaper? Maybe just with scrap wood? https://www.instructables.com/DIY-LED-TowerBar-Light/
7 interesting jigs for a tablesaw
https://youtu.be/gf4nICWAcjQ Well this this case a homebrew table saw. First two (fence and sled) are pretty common or come with saws. The others are some interesting variations. https://www.homemadetools.net/forum/7-simple-table-saw-jigs-video-92146#post207661
