Build your own resistor sorter
Too funny. The author build a resistor tester and sorter . Pretty clever build but only works with un-bent (unused) resistors. Sorting Resistors with 3D Printing and a PIC
Another Bench Dog Pop up build
Actually 2 variants of the build. I like the copper sleeves the author uses. No so sure about using “metal” pegs. The look nice but the work to cut them seems a bit much for me. http://makezine.com/2016/07/08/pop-bench-dogs/
3D print your own machine shop
OK maybe not a machine shop. Either way they author starts off with a lathe, and then adds in other mini machinst tools. http://www.robotshop.com/letsmakerobots/making-machines-make Main site: https://plus.google.com/+MarkMillerstuff

Make your RPi into an onion router
Called OnionPi. Basically if you want to have your own cheap anonymizer, you can use your RPi to do so. Keep in mind you are putting all your net traffic thru one of these when its in use. https://www.open-electronics.org/onion-pi-makes-your-web-traffic-anonymous/

Thats one nice knife holder
I have been thinking of making something like this with all the harddrive magnets I have. but this looks nice too. Only downside is that magnet is $20 + shipping. http://www.ikeahackers.net/2017/03/wood-steel-magnetic-knife-rack.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Ikeahacker+%28ikeahacker%29

A nice looking build recurve bow
Pretty impressive build. Basically the author uses a block of wood and some PVC pipe. https://www.instructables.com/id/Handcrafted-Wooden-Recurve-Bow-Made-by-a-14-Year-O/
Time to start locking down IoT, BrickerBot bricking IoT devices
OK so if you have an IoT device that for some god forsaken reason has “telnet” running. This worm will get into it and brick the device (it sounds like it corrupts the filesystem and then its toast). Not sure … Continue reading

$11? Great where can I buy one?
Apparently some researchers in china build a radio relay that can bounce a car remote signal from a pretty far distance to “unlock it” and in some cases allow the person to drive away for $11. OK thats great, but … Continue reading
