Author uses a RPi to make a decent thermo camera
Using a $60 thermo camera and a $15 dollar display, oh and a RaspberryPi of course, the author builds a cheap thermo camera. Me, I have seen the FILR’s go down to $150, so I think I would buy that … Continue reading

Interesting 3D printed Biology projects
The project, Poseidon project by California Institute of Technology, has som e pretty cool builds. It includes a 3D printed digital microscope, and a 3D printed syringe pump. They use arduino’s for controllers.

Nice write up on a CNC buil
The author used a kit called the ARCO Openbuilds CNC, which seems to be a pre prepped kit for the hardware part of the CNC, but you have to put it together, and add in the drill/laser/etc etc. Interesting build … Continue reading

friend lights
Basically a set of lights that are connected to the net, and can sync colors with eachother. Interesting build, could be nice with kids these days. https://www.instructables.com/DIY-Long-Distance-Best-Friend-Lights/

ZeroBot
I have been looking at this build. Its pretty straight forward and can be cheap (assuming you have a 3D printer) to make, under $50 anyways. https://hackaday.io/project/25092-zerobot-raspberry-pi-zero-fpv-robot#menu-description

Simple RPi media box
Nice build. I have some original RPi’s that could benefit from this. https://github.com/roiyz/PiVidBox/blob/master/README.md

Once fancy lego sorter
This one is pretty amazing. This is one big lego sorter (made of legos of course). It uses AI to id and find new lego parts to add to its category. https://www.ubergizmo.com/2019/12/lego-sorter-uses-neural-network/?utm_source=mainrss

Use an old tablet for a display on on RPi
Well I think I found a use for some old Amazon Tablets. The author uses VNC or RDP to access the RPi over the network. And act as its display. It sounds like RDP is a better way to go … Continue reading

Adding in your own bluetooth
Not a bad build. The author took a RPi Zero, and a DAC hat to make a bluetooth receiver to go into the stereo in on a car. He built a custom RPi image to do this all with too … Continue reading
