Make a circle cutting jig for a router in 20 minutes
A nice simple build for using a scrap piece of plywood for making circles with a router. The only thing I noticed is there is no “center hole” to mount the jig with. Note, you see it in the video… … Continue reading

Another idea for interior closet doors
I like this one where the author also added in casters to the doors. The author re-used the existing bi-fold doors and converted them into normal like doors. http://ana-white.com/2010/08/behind-closet-doors.html

Build an inside door Shelving Unit
Nice build, the author uses plywood for the whole thing (I think I would just use boards since I don’t have quiet the workshop she has). http://wilkerdos.com/2015/04/diy-shelving-unit-for-inside-a-door/

Cool Step Stool with CNC engraving
The author built the stool with 2x4s and then had a CNC engrave the top. Pretty slick looking. One thing I would have done differently. Since a CNC did the engraving, why not have it also cut it out? Looks … Continue reading

An outdoor toy cart
Another nice build from shanty 2 chic. This once is a cart for the kids outdoor toys. I like the use of pegboard on one side for adding in additional shelves as needed. http://www.shanty-2-chic.com/2014/07/diy-rolling-storage-cart.html

Cool looking fold up table (with free plans to build it)
I stumbled on this site last night. The author has a bunch of nice builds but this one caught my eye since its a nice cabinet to desk solution. http://www.shanty-2-chic.com/2014/08/diy-murphy-desk.html

Build a simple country wall jewelry box for christmas
I like this build, its simple and good looking. It could be adapted for non-country styles too. You could stain the backboards different colors for example. http://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-Jewelry-Organizer-Wall-Mount/

Building a Rubber Band Gatling Gun
This is a very well done write-up on building a hand cranked rubber band gatling gun. A while back I mentioned on for $100. But this is much better and you can build it with kids. Roughly, I think the … Continue reading

Convert a full lenght bathroom mirror into storage area
Not a bad idea. Now if this was combined with some cabinet from IKEA that would be really cool. Either way the plans and materials are available and looks like a straight forward project to do. http://www.shanty-2-chic.com/2014/02/bathroom-storage-diy.html
