The author first glued up the boards, and then used a CNC to shape the shield.

The “face” is CNC’ed out and uses standard templates you can find on the web. The sides are just all the sides of a box cut up (so you make a square box). Pretty simple build.
I got a kick out of this build. The author uses a stocking and a string. As the author points out, you can by one, at $30 and up. The stockings are from the dollar store from the sounds of it. The author recommends using thick stocking for this.

With Halloween coming up, this could be a good build to do.

Only downside to this build, is you can’t “see” out of the glasses. Still an interesting build overall.

Uses an arduino to control the servo’s for the arms. All parts are cut from plex board.
OK so the author had some hacksaws that apparently had some really cheap handles (plastic) that broke, so instead of buying another hacksaw, he made a new handle from a block of wood. Me…I have an old hacksaw with a metal handle…I am thinking that bugger is going to last me a lifetime.

I like this build but…I think the author needs to extend it to the end of the bench so it can latch on at that end. With such a long fence I can see it start to “wiggle” at the one end.
This is a pretty neat build, the author made this jig so he could make “drums” and the jig goes on the inside and out to make the circle.
Nice build, a bit more fancier than what I need. Still a nice build.
