Harddrive magnets + paint can
And you can go fishing for metal loose on floors and the ground. Too funny, guess this would be a good fix if you are doing your roof and loose alot of nails in the process. http://www.instructables.com/id/Magnet-Fishing-Reusing-Harddrive-Magnets/
Interesting Hot Wire Cutter build
Good on the cheap materials. Easy to build too. http://www.instructables.com/id/Scrappy-Hot-Wire-Cutter/
Cool tape measure tool
I like this one better than another one I have seen. This one is a bit more universal for a bunch of different tape measures. The author does a good job explaining how to design and build your own too. … Continue reading
Nice build for a flip top tool cart
I have seen some of these before. But the author re-uses the frame of a small desk with casters for this one. Me…I can see making something like this. If the base is rugged enough. http://www.instructables.com/id/Flip-Top-Tool-Cart-From-Reclaimed-Desk/
Laser cut your own featherboards
I like the build, I think I can adapt it for CNC with a router bit too. Feather boards are a nice way to keep wood from slipping off the saw while cutting. http://www.instructables.com/id/Make-Featherboard-With-Laser-Cutter/

Nice table saw sled
I like this sled build project. I just got down building my own, but out of scraps vs alot of folks that build it with new materials. One addition I plan to do from this build is to add in … Continue reading
Make a simple clutch for a drill press
I had to watch the video to see how this was built. Its a nice idea but if you need “power” behind your hole being drilled, you do not want to use this. Figure not including the chuck, $10 in … Continue reading
Cool build for a drill to make straight down holes
I like this build. Thought the author did alot of work for the one particular drill to work with the build. Oh and used a CNC to cut it out. Oh and there are springs in the build (you just … Continue reading

Some interesting tool based 3D prints to try
Nice projects. I like the pocket drill one, only downside is most of these will require a good sized bed (6×6 I would think). https://makezine.com/2017/09/25/5-super-useful-3d-printable-tools/ You can find the list here https://www.thingiverse.com/BlackBeardProjects/collections/diy-3d-prints

Make a sanding saw
This was just worth looking at. The author build a homemade “saw” that holds sanding paper. I actually like the build myself. However I think I would simplify it a bit more. http://www.instructables.com/id/Sanding-Saw/
