Using the head from a cordless drill as an endstock

The title on the video confused me. The author basically is using the head from a cordless drill to be part of the tailstock for a homemade drill based lathe. https://www.homemadetools.net/forum/homemade-lathe-wood-using-old-gearbox-reducer-cordless-drill-76799?homelistings#post148280

Nice spindle drum sander build

For using with a drill instead of a drillpress. Author did a bit more work than I would have in making it, but the do look nice. And they still can be put onto the drillpress. https://www.homemadetools.net/forum/spindle-drum-sander-drill-making-77307?homelistings#post150364

3D print a brake for your vise

Interesting build for a metal bending brake for your vise. Not so sure I would do this as I don’t know if I would trust it. Also you can buy one for your vise for $40.

Interesting video on converting a frig compressor

The author basically bypasses the relay and wires in a switch directly into the compressor to turn it on. Downside, to turn it off you have to cut power to it. https://www.homemadetools.net/forum/how-make-simple-air-compressor-refrigerator-motor-77315?homelistings#post150438

Another nice wood lathe build

Bit more work than I am willing to do, but nice build overall. I like the tailstock build and the bar used for the tool rest. https://www.homemadetools.net/forum/wooden-lathe-diy-strong-76763?homelistings#post148156

Interesting fume extractor build

Pretty big fan (so you need a good sized 3D printer to print out the case). I do like the info on the USB boost module that takes 5 volts in and can be adjusted to 12 volts out. Heck … Continue reading

Simple metal bender

Basically its a clamp with a long lever. You clamp the other end of the bar to bend into a vise, and pull hard. Simple, and effective. https://www.homemadetools.net/forum/homemade-basic-metal-bender-video-77512?homelistings#post151282

Nice pin jig for router table

Nice jig to use to follow a template and make a cut on the undersize of a board. I like this a bit better than some of the other tracer builds I have seen (easier to store too). https://www.homemadetools.net/forum/pin-router-premium-homemade-router-table-77279?homelistings#post150253

Interesting build for a foam cutter

I was a bit surpised at this build. Its pretty straight forward to make and cheap. But what was interesting is the use of a coping saw as the cutter holder and applying the power thru the saw. Me…I think … Continue reading
