Interesting cheap 8 in 1 mill

I stumbled on this by accident.  The original one I found was by hobbyking that has the 8-in-1 machine tool that says it can do wood and metal for around 320 after tax/shipping.  A quick search on ebay turns out more at the $200 mark.  All are from China.  Its an interesting build but I wonder how reliable it is.

Other alternatives, Unimat 1 Lathe ($250).  I have heard the old Unimat SL is a good buy (used)
