How to make your own steam bender
I was on another topic and stumbled on this. Pretty straight forward build and cheap to make a way to steam boards to bend them. http://www.popularwoodworking.com/projects/q-a-steam-bending-gear
Make a mini battle bot with a bottle
This was a pretty neat start of a battle bot. Basically using a bottle as the shield for the bot. I would be even more impressed if the author used other recycled parts too. http://www.instructables.com/id/Soda-Bottle-Combat-Robot/
Nice build to pipe concrete to make decorations
Basically you trace a printout with the concrete. It came out interesting like. I wonder about Halloween decorations with this technique. I like how he gets it to “curve” on a pipe. http://makezine.com/2017/09/05/experimenting-with-concrete/
Nice and simple looknig paper towel holder
Pretty easy build. Only thing is copper isn’t the cheapest material to get, so this could be a good build with leftovers. http://www.instructables.com/id/Modern-Industrial-Copper-Pipe-Paper-Towel-Holder/
Make an MQTT water leak alarm
Nice build, takes an ESP and makes it into a wireless water alarm to alert your home system or phone. Me…I would like a little more security on the device myself. http://www.instructables.com/id/ESP8266-Water-Leak-Detector-MQTT-Homie/
So, CNN videos not enough
Article goes on about sites that do not filter the content of videos. Looks like it could get pretty gruesome. http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/6-shocking-video-websites-news/

One colorful Pinwheel wind generator
I like this build. Too many folks shoot down wind power cause of the “looks”. This is a nice take on that to improve the look (thought the output may suffer). My 2 cents, I think I would build smaller … Continue reading
A Fist Sledge Hammer
OK this is just…well funny. All I can thing about is the old hulk hands for kids. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/168247561/demofist

This is a good way to do a 4th axis on the cheap
I was pretty impressed with this one. basically you secure a gear line on the CNC and it spins the board around. Rolling Around A 4th Axis

Nice cheap pop shield for a microphone
So, you want to do a podcast/youtube/etc etc thing but get pops in your voice recording. This is an interesting build for a pop shield to help stop that. Basically the author built it with a clothes hanger and an … Continue reading
