Xerox taking over the Tollways

Opensource programmer

Looks pretty simple to build, uses a PIC controller (yeah there are still some old timers that use those controllers) I would use something else to mount the chips in thought so that it would be easier. http://openprog.altervista.org/OP_eng.html

A cheap way to convert a surface mount chip to thru hole

Most chips are going to surface mount, which can be a pain in the butt to prototype, this author found a cheap workaround by putting leads on the ends of the chip with some wire, solder and tape. http://codinglab.blogspot.be/2013/06/poor-mans-msop-soldering.html
