Nice build for stackable painting pyramids

I have seen the screw in a board trick before. But putting a second hole so you can stack them all together is nice way to store them.  My 2 cents, maybe 2 more holes so you could “hang” the … Continue reading

Interesting sander tool

I like the tool, but…how did he bend it (maybe used the steamer build?)? http://www.house-interior-designs.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/tool-tote-stool—-love.jpg

Is it a foot stool or a toolbox

Interesting build to make it “both”.  Not so sure I would put the handhold on the bottom, I would be afraid of stuff falling out in toolbox mode. http://www.house-interior-designs.net/tool-totestool-love/?utm_content=buffer8deeb&utm_medium=social&utm_source=pinterest.com&utm_campaign=buffer

Nice outfeed for a Dewalt tablesaw

I am pretty sure you can apply this to other saws as well.  I was looking at outfeeds or rollers to use with a tablesaw, and…well…it can get pricey (some cases more than the saw).  Note if you are looking … Continue reading

use a tablesaw to make a wood screw like thing from dowel rod

Interesting build.  But….I think I would extend the jig somehow to have it pushed up with a tool of some sort. http://www.instructables.com/id/Spiral-Cut-a-Wooden-Dowel-Using-a-Table-Saw/

Make a jig for making circles on a tablesaw

I like this idea better than another one I saw where you make holes on the saw.  Just a few changes thought.  Maybe make a slot on the board, or multiple holes for different size circles.  Also I like one … Continue reading

Alternative to TS-100, the Hakko FX-901

This isn’t as fancy as the TS-100 portable soldering iron, but its 1/2 the cost ($30).  And reviews are pretty good. Hakko FX-901: Better than TS-100?

Convert a batter fan to run off Dewalt batteries

I like this build.  I have one of the 02Cool fans and it uses an ungodly number of D batteries.  So this build is a nice alternative to that.  And cheaper (if you already have the materials). than buying the … Continue reading

How to make your own steam bender

I was on another topic and stumbled on this.  Pretty straight forward build and cheap to make a way to steam boards to bend them. http://www.popularwoodworking.com/projects/q-a-steam-bending-gear

have an old saw handle, turn it into a push stick

Bit of an overkill one.  But hey, can never be too safe right? http://www.instructables.com/id/Saw-Handle-Push-Stick/
