Build your own High Voltage Generator
Nice idea, the author needed something that could do high (100V) voltage but with a low current. I am pretty impressed he did this with a battery no less. https://blog.theledart.com/blog/archives/2148
Make some soft vise clamp pads
Use one of those giant rubber erasers from the dollar store. Good idea but I would like to see a better way to get it to hold into the vise. https://www.instructables.com/id/Vice-Soft-Jaws-Cheap-and-Easy/
Nice Jig to sharpen planer blades
OK if you can sharpen something on a grinder it is way more faster than by hand. But…you can screw things up faster too. The author made a nice and simple jig to use with a tabletop grinder to do … Continue reading
Nice tool to make joints
Basically its a router attached to a handle that you use to trace a pattern out. Cool Tools: The Pantorouter Turns Tracing on its Side OK

Interesting multitool, but a bit pricey
This looks liek a pretty cool multi-tool but I think its bigger than it looks in the pictures, so it won’t be a simple “pocket” tool. And…its $100. I can get alot of tools for $100. http://www.homemadetools.net/forum/kickstarter-toler-union-pocket-multi-tool-gif-videos-photos-69610?homelistings#post117980
Homemade compressor
I have seen a few of these builds before. This one makes me a little nervous as its using soda bottles for the tanks. It seems expensive to build too for a “cheap” build since the author is using alot … Continue reading
Turn your tablesaw into a disk sander
I like this idea but….not so sure I want fine dust in the tablesaw. I know it makes savings anyways, but I see a few issues, one getting the “sand blade” to fit. And two, the micro dust factor… Either … Continue reading
Nice workbench add ons
The author did a series of add ones for his workbench that are pretty nice. Of course you need a workbench that is cleared off it do this. http://bellevuewoodshop.com/assembly-table-accessories/

Simple template for skims
Nice idea the author made for using a bandsaw to make shims as needed. I could see this be adapted for a tablesaw as well. Normally I would just buy shims, but in a pinch, this is a good way … Continue reading
Convert a broken compressor into an air tank
Good idea for some of those cheap compressors that the motor dies off on you. Author says its around $10 in parts to do, I am thinking closer to $20 if you are unable to re-use parts already on the … Continue reading
