Tool to use your Drillpress as a Tapping Fixture
OK I admit I have done this mostly by hand, but putting a handle on the chuck of the drillpress is a good idea to make a manual turner for tapping a hole. Just make sure you unplug the drillpress … Continue reading
Nice build for hold down clamps
The author built them by hand. Me…I could see converting this to a CNC. http://www.homemadetools.net/forum/hold-down-clamp-wooden-clamps-making-73579?homelistings#post136240

Make your own bandsaw
Nice project but…I think I would buy one myself off craigslist. Seems like alot of work. http://www.homemadetools.net/forum/homemade-bandsaw-portable-toptable-drill-powered-bandsaw-73532?homelistings#post135980

Picture hanging tool
Why didn’t I think of this, you have a threaded rod on a stick that you can use to make the mark on the wall where to put the hanger for the picture frame. https://rick.sparber.org/PictureHangingTool.pdf

Interesting drum sander build
This is good for small pieces of wood. I would not try this with a long or large piece. Also pretty complicated build overall. Oh I like how the author built the roller with ends loose to put the sandpaper … Continue reading
Making your own metal lathe on the cheap
Interesting build. Not so sure I would go this far for a lathe, and maybe just go someplace instead. https://hackaday.com/2019/06/09/assembling-a-lathe-from-not-a-lot/
Make a scrap board hanger for your next deck project
The author basically make two c shapes that slide over a deck board so you can put in cross pieces. http://www.homemadetools.net/forum/scrap-board-hanger-73155?homelistings#post134525
Make your own miter gauge for a table saw
I have been toying with doing this myself. Mostly cause the cost of a good miter is crazy expensive. http://www.homemadetools.net/forum/diy-ultimate-precision-miter-gauge-73052?homelistings#post134165
A radio controlled wheelbarrow
The author did it to “race” the wheelbarrow. Me…interesting build and would be nice for a more practical use, like as a wheelbarrow that is motorized.
Making a homemade silent air compressor
Nice build, the author uses a compressor from a frig. Pretty quiet too.
