Cool USB tester

basically it tests USB cables using an arduino (mega) as the controller. It reminded me of the old network cable testers I used to have. Actually I googled to see if there was something like this for USB, only found … Continue reading

Interesting duel purpose track guide

The author basically make one side to slide a circular saw down, and the other side for a trim router. nice build overall. I like the homemade clamps that are under it to hold it down. https://www.homemadetools.net/forum/multifuction-track-guide-circular-saw-trim-router-self-clamp-85876?homelistings#post183571

Make a Moxon Vise

Pretty simple and easy build, but…where the heck do you get 2 3/4s thick threaded rod and your “local hardware store”. I have looked for stuff like this at Home Depot and Lowes with no luck in the past. Usually … Continue reading

Simple sleeves for your vise

Basically the author used some aluminum angle iron, felt on one side, and harddrive magnets on the other and done. https://www.instructables.com/Protetor-Para-Objetos-Delicados-Em-Mor%C3%A7as/

Interesting set of jigs

First one is for making thin cuts on a tablesaw. Its a bit different take from other builds I have seen for this. Second on is for a rather fancy paint spray can shaker. Third one is for moving sheets … Continue reading
