Is Astroprint better than Octoprint?

Both items are software packages ment to run on a small computer (Raspberry Pi for example) that will allow you to control and send 3D print jobs to be processed.  Astroprint is a fork off of Octoprint from what I understand and was part of a kickstarter project to make a better solution.  I don’t know a whole lot about either project (but interesting in trying them out).  Both seem to have 30+ contributors in github.  AstroPrint thought has had more activity recently than Octoprint.  No reviews that I can find comparing the two.  Anyone else know anything?
